Precautions for OPPC Cables During Transportation and Installation

4. Cable should not be reversed several times to avoid the integrity of the internal structure of the cable, cable laying should be inspected before the appearance, check the specifications, number, test length, and attenuation of a single tray inspection and acceptance. Each tray of fiber optic cable in the guard plate with the product factory inspection certificate (should be properly stored for future inquiries), dismantle the cable guard plate to prevent damage to the fiber optic cable.


5. In the construction process should pay attention to the bending radius of the cable shall not be less than the construction regulations, the cable does not allow excessive bending.

6. Laying overhead fiber optic cable should be pulled by pulleys, overhead fiber optic cable to avoid friction with buildings, trees, and other facilities. Avoid dragging the ground or friction with other sharp and hard objects and damage the outer skin of the cable, if necessary, should install protective measures. 7. The cable line design should try to avoid easy-to-find buildings, such as can not be avoided, the cable should take fire protection measures.
